Pop-up #1: Fisolosofipub
Kven er me?

We're back after a fantastic festival in February. The best way to kickstart the season? With a Filosofipub at our favorite café: Le Café Pomme.
Have you always wanted to philosophise with others about questions around life?
Grab the opportunity by joining Filosofipub with Emil and Pedro at Le Café Pomme, this time in partnership with Winter of Soul festival!
How does it work in practice?
Come as you are and bring a friend along! No registration required, but the event has limited spots. We have prepared specific frames and questions for the evening so that each participant can discuss in small groups with other participants.
Who are we?
Emil Perron and Pedro Dias Bergheim. We are educated in philosophical practice, certified by Norsk Selskap for Filosofisk Praksis (NSFP) and have ample experience with philosophical group discussions. Our main work lies in research and teaching at the University of Bergen.
What is philosophical practice?
“Philosophical practice uses dialogue as a method. A philosophical practitioner [...] asks thought-provoking questions rather than gives learned answers. Through conversations based on daily experiences, personal matters, the practitioner promotes philosophical reflection. While navigating a busy life, it can be wise to take a moment to stop and reflect about one’s own life and path. By discovering philosophy in the mundane, and the mundane in philosophy, we can see ourselves and our path in a bigger perspective.” Read more about philosophical practice on NSFP’s home page (nsfp.no).
Welcome to Filosofipub at Le Café Pomme!
